Currently pursuing a degree in jazz guitar performance at the University of New Orleans, Wilson Marks has been playing guitar and writing songs since the age of 12. His original songs are lyrically quirky and often contain wordplay. A set of his is likely to contain a motley mix for the musical palate: from original intrumentals to a Ray Charles tune; from folk-based singer-songwriter faire to a rendition of a Cole Porter song; complete with interesting fretwork peppered throughout and overlaid by a pleasantly gravelly voice that belies his years.

Wilson has taught guitar, bass, banjo, and beginning mandolin for 8 years privately and through the SLU Community Music School. He currently teaches from his home in New Orleans.
